Dear oh dear - Cameron has had to step in and rebuke Daniel Hannan's NHS-bashing comments publicly. Whilst over the other side of the Atlantic, the health care debate continues to rage on with adjectives describing the NHS such as "Orwellian" and "evil" being bandied about. God those Americans are the masters of hyperbole and shameless rhetoric.
Listen to the feature from the Today programme from this morning. Apparently we have the "highest death rate and the lowest recovery rate in Europe". But have YOU actually verified any of these statistics? No, I thought not. Anecdotal right-wing fear-mongering is good enough for you I'm sure....
